Sharp has begun the exclusive-to-the-U.S.-market deployment of their new LED TV: the 90-inch Aquos LC-90LE745U.

Sharp describes the new TV as the  world’s largest LED TV and part of our large-screen 3D line of AQUOS® LED Smart TVs. This 90” Class (90-1/64” diagonal) model with brushed aluminum black bezel features our 1080p 3D full array LED panel, delivering one of the most natural, vibrant pictures available. And with built-in Wi-Fi and our intuitive SmartCentral user interface, you can access today’s most popular apps or even browse the web.

Consumer Reports has yet to examine the television in depth, but said, ”Sharp has definitely take the lead in larger TV screen sizes.” It said the company’s televisions had traditionally done well in past reviews, despite a history of “relatively narrow viewing angles.”

According to Sharp, the LC-90LE745U is now available, and has suggested price of $10,999.99.
