iPad Ghost Snapped in Top Hat and Cape
Looking for a spooky story to make your day complete? Charlotte Wearing, 16, recently snapped a photo of a ghost on her iPad ghost.
The photograph shows a man in Victorian dress seemingly superimposed over a bush in Wearing’s backyard. Wearing a top hat, suit and cape, the ghost has been nicknamed “Jack” by Wearing and her family, who also claim to have seen another ghost, a woman in a blue dress carrying an infant.
The family tells the Daily Mail, “Jack” has visited their home in Ward Green Barnsley regularly over the last four years.
Of course not everyone is convinced that jack is a ghost.
Readers on ECN cry foul.
“Sorry but I’m sure that’s fake. It’s an iPad and there is an app for everything. Ghost capture it’s called. I had it and the same man was one of the ghosts on it. Nice try.”
Another reader agrees, there’s an app for that:
“Yeah, this is from an iPad app which adds ‘ghost’ images to any photo you take. That exact ghost is available in the app. Which makes me wonder whether the back story about ‘Jack’ visiting the family for 4 years was made up by the family, or by the journalist, or both together?”
Whether these ghost images turn out to be a con, a technical problem, truly unexplainable or just a good old fashioned prank, those who love tales of hauntings and the supernatural have taken great interest in the story.
