The NBA draft is being held today in New Jersey. As the selections are being made, people are already giving letter grades to each team’s selections.

Among the choices that are being given the highest grades are the Hornets taking Anthony Davis in the first round as the number pick overall. Other top choices are Sacramento selecting Thomas Robinson of Kansas and the Golden State Warriors choosing Harrison Barnes in the first round as the seventh pick overall.

There has been criticism of Boston choosing Fab Melo for the sole purpose of being a backup center. It seemed to be a waste of a first round pick. The Pacers have also been criticized for selecting a center in the first round. They chose Miles Plumlee from Duke.
