UFC 150 is in the record books
UFC 150 from Denver last night was the site of one of the closest fights in mma history,and one if the fastest.
In the main event Ben Henderson won a split decision over Frankie Edgar to retain his light-heavyweight title. Henderson has now won 14 out of 15 fights including back to back wins over Edgar. Henderson took the fight on two of the scorecards 48-47, with third judge favoring Edgar 49-6.
The co-main event featured hometown favorite Donald Cerrone knocking out Melvin Guillard with a punishing right hand just 76 seconds into the fight. This electrifying fight earned the fight of the night bonus for each fighter
Jake Shields defeated Ed Herman via unanimous-decision.
Erik Perez knocked out Ken Stone with a huge right hand, Stone was knocked unconscious ending the fight in a Bantam weight record 17 seconds
The youngest UFC fighter Max Holloway defeated Justin Lawrence in the second round with a punch that caught Lawrence in liver. At the age of 20 Holloway improves to 6-1.
Yushin Okami improved to 27-7 with a second round tko over Buddy Roberts.
