LeBron James told the media that the Miami Heat, the current NBA Champions, can be even better than last season.

James claims free agent additions Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, combined with Chris Bosh agreeing to play in the center position more often, only helps to make the Heat a better team.

Heat coach Eric Spoelstra refuses to use the word “repeat” when talking about the upcoming NBA season. In his view, last season doesn’t matter. His team must focus on this season and what it takes to win now.

Another reason for the confidence from Heat players is the winning culture. Only two players remain from the last Heat championship team. One of the two remaining players is Heat captain Dwayne Wade.

The Heat have faced high expectations for the past two seasons, both since James and Bosh joined the Heat. This will be the third season working together.
