Go Daddy keep faith with Danica Patrick for Super Bowl Commercials
Rumors of the demise of Danica Patrick from the risque avertising campaigns of internet domain names company Go Daddy appear to have been unfounded. Go Daddy founder Bob Parsons announced Patrick would feature heavily in the two Super Bowl commercials planned by the company for the ninth straight year.
The employment of advertising agency Deutsch Inc. to take the Super Bowl advertising out of Go Daddy’s inhouse production team had led to rumors the NASCAR driver’s future role in the company’s advertising would be reduced. Despite last years poor showing in viewer ratings for the Super Bowl commercial featuring Patrick the company have decided to keep faith with their main spokesperson.
Go Daddy have been the main sponsor of Danica Patrick’s motor racing career since 2007 when they began a sponsorship deal for her car; the company have since followed Patrick from Indycar to NASCAR racing. Although Patrick has been focusing on her racing career instead of advertising her role with Go Daddy sees her keeping a high public profile.
