Tennis superstar Serena Williams has thrilled fans time and time again with her skills, but she received attention on Thursday for a not so stellar moment at the Australian Open.

Videos are popping up on several websites and Twitter that show Williams accidentally smacking herself in the face with her tennis racket. Williams was attempting to return a volley against her opponent, Garbine Muguruza. Instead, the racket came into contact with her lip.

Although Williams was not seriously injured during the mishap, but her lip was bleeding, and she appeared to be in pain. The tennis star went on to win the second round match, even though she is playing on a previously injured ankle.

Thanks to her win, Williams will continue to move forward in the Australian Open. On Saturday, she won her third round game against Ayumi Morita. Hopefully, this is the last of the player’s injuries during this tournament.
