Lindsey Vonn, the world class American athlete, was injured during a competition in Austria on February 5th. Vonn was competing in the Super-G, that is part of the World Alpine Championship, when she took a hard landing speeding down the hill.

According to the New York Times, one of her skis flew off as she tumbles down the hill. Vonn tore two knee ligaments from the accident.
