Three people were shot on Tuesday in Alliance Nebraska. An armed man entered a pharmacy in the morning hours just before nine and 911 was immediately called. Police responded to the scene and officers Kirk Felker, Trooper Tim Flick, and one unnamed hostage were shot in the robbery.

Officer Felker received only minor injuries and was released from the hospital at about 10:30 a.m. Trooper Flick was seriously injured when SWAT team members entered the pharmacy. He is in stable condition but is still in the hospital. There have been no further updates on his condition. The hostage, who’s name has not been released, is still in the hospital. His injuries have not been released either. The hostage was injured during an escape.

The area of downtown where the shooting took place is still sectioned off and officers are telling people to avoid of the crime scene. There are some reports that the suspect is related to a nearby trailer park where a body was discovered. Police have refused to comment on the subject as these might just be rumors in the town. The standoff ended after 14 hours with the death of the suspect who has been named as Andres Gonzales.
