A recent survey done by Kelton Research asked millions of Americans for their opinions regarding Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and in this election year, one of the questions asked pertained to the presidential candidates.

Asked whether President Barack Obama or likely Republican challenger, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, would be better prepared to protect American citizens in the event of an alien invasion, two-thirds of the respondents said they believed current President Obama the more qualified to defend against a UFO invasion.

The curious question was likely inspired by the movie “Independence Day” in which the plot featured an overwhelming alien attack on Earth mishandled by the White House.
