Friday nights storms for the Eastern states has caused some major concerns. Ohio in particular has had to declare a state of emergency. Trees and power lines are down all over the state and more than a 1,000,000 people are without electricity at the moment.

Ohio’s Governor John Kasich declared the state of emergency and President Obama has sent FEMA to help and coordinate the disaster efforts. The Ohio National Guard will be conducting door to door inquiries to make sure that residents are okay since there is no power. The electric companies estimate that it will take about a week to restore power to most of the residents, it might be longer in some areas.
