Lena Dunham Criticized for Too Suggestive Ad Supporting Obama

Lena Dunham, creator and star of television’s “Girls” on HBO is drawing criticism from conservative circles for running a suggestive ad supporting Barack Obama’s run for a second term as U.S. President.

Conservatives don’t have a problem with Dunham supporting Obama, but they do have a major problem with the fact that the content of the ad seems racy and suggestive.

In the ad, Dunham appears to be talking about her first sexual experience, but in reality everything she says about “her first time” and doing it with “a great guy” actually refers to young people voting for president for the first time in their lives, not having sex for the first time.

So far the ad has more dislike than like votes.

But Dunham may have the last laugh after all in creating the YouTube video because it accomplished exactly what she intended, encouraging young Americans to take advantage of voting for the first time.
