Courteney Cox Promise: “I Will Show My Boobs”

More cougar skin this season?

Entering its fourth season, the hit show ‘Cougar Town’ is going to be on TBS starting this year. The aging starlet, Courteney Cox stars on this over-the-hill and often over-the-top sitcom about middle aged women who still want to be sexy and desirable, preferably to younger men.

The queen of the so-called cougars herself, Ms. Cox, and the show’s producers must feel a ratings slump coming on, because they’ve elected to resort to increased nudity as a way to either keep up or improve ratings. We’re hearing terms like ‘Year of the Cleavage’ and ‘Naked Day’ being thrown around like they’re mission statements for the upcoming season.

In a move that’s sure to excite cougar lovers everywhere, Courtney Cox has declared that there will be more nudity this season. She has come right out and stated that she wants to move the attention away from her face, and presumably away from that Joker style smile of hers and refocus it on her body.

“You will not see one scene that I don’t show my boobs,” the Cougar Town actress joked to reporters at a Television Critics Association panel for the show on Friday, Jan. 4. “You know what? I’m getting older, so I’ve decided at this point I’m taking less focus off the face, and focusing [on my chest]. By the time I’m much older, I will just be absolutely nude. I think it’s gonna work for me, I hope.”

Which only brings one question to mind, which part of her body has she spent more money on? Time will tell if the viewers are willing to trade their dignity for a chance to see the former ‘Friends’ star sans clothing.

Cox, 48, hinted at one upcoming episode which will feature her and love interest, Josh Hopkins stripped down for a naked day in an effort to strengthen their relationship.

“I did know in advance [but] I did not take advantage of the time I had to know,” she told Us Weekly after the panel of how she prepared for the nude scenes. “Lighting is everything! I’m not kidding. You could walk into a room and go, ‘Wow! I look great today.’ And one step further, you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I look horrible!'”
