“Very disturbing, very upsetting and I couldn’t believe what I saw,” the man, who didn’t want to be identified, added.
According to WOWTEmily Winkle was one of the few people to see the boy before police whisked him away to the Omaha Children’s Hospital. Her boyfriend helped the man who found the child get the boy out of the dumpster and to safety.
Speaking of the child, Winkle said:
“It was fine and just happy someone was holding it.”
“I just can’t believe that someone can do that, just discard a baby like it’s a piece of trash,”
According to police, the child was covered in lint and was without clothes other than his soiled diaper. Despite that, the boy was in relatively good health. Aside from scrapes and bruises on his back, he was doing okay.
