Foo Fighters closed out Big Weekend performing Sunday night after Taylor Swift’s set, a fact the didn’t go unnoticed by the frontman. He mentioned her several times during their performance, even dedicating three songs to the singer, one of which is their track “Congregation” which was written in Nashville.

According to reports, Grohl stated, “I’ve done some weird things in my life but I’ve never before said that Taylor Swift is my opening act … Taylor motherf–king Swift … This one is dedicated to Taylor Swift.” He also added, “I’m officially obsessed, she might want to get a restraining order … To my opening band, Taylor Swift.”
As a huge fan of all things British, Taylor tweeted her fans beforehand about her excitement for the show.
‘Hi England. Hoping for a dancy crowd tonight at @BBCR1 #BigWeekend in Norwich!’ she wrote… and it appears she got her wish, with Twitter becoming awash with praise-filled comments for her during and after her performance.
Meanwhile, Swift has set another record.
The 25 year old singer and songwriter has become the youngest woman ever to be included on the Forbes list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.
She’s included at number 64 in the list released this week because, Forbes says, she ‘has not only broken record sales and captivated the world with her fantastically honest lyrics, but she has proven herself as an impressive businesswoman.’
