Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has admitted being “obsessed” with Taylor Swift, while on stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend this past Sunday night.
The Foo Fighters closed out Big Weekend performing Sunday night after Taylor Swift’s performed as the opening act, a fact the didn’t go unnoticed by the frontman.
Grohl mentioned her several times during their performance, even dedicating three songs to the singer, one of which is their track “Congregation” which was written in Nashville.

According to reports, Grohl stated, “I’ve done some weird things in my life but I’ve never before said that Taylor Swift is my opening act … Taylor motherf–king Swift … This one is dedicated to Taylor Swift.” He also added, “I’m officially obsessed, she might want to get a restraining order … To my opening band, Taylor Swift.”
As a huge fan of all things British, Taylor tweeted her fans beforehand about her excitement for the show.
‘Hi England. Hoping for a dancy crowd tonight at @BBCR1 #BigWeekend in Norwich!’ she wrote… and it appears she got her wish, with Twitter becoming awash with praise-filled comments for her during and after her performance.
Meanwhile, it looks like things are going very VERY well in Swift and Calvin Harris.
Showbiz’ hottest new couple looked the picture of happiness as they headed out on date night in NYC on Tuesday.
Swifty showed off her perfect pins and washboard abs in a pale blue and white drop top and skirt combo, which she teamed with a nude bag and matching shoes.
The Shake It Off singer – who never seems to stop between live shows , hitting the road, recording, publicity and just being a lovely person to everyone she meets – has dismissed the idea it can be a difficult life.
The artist admits that being a pop star isn’t all that difficult.
“It’s not that hard, I’m telling you now it’s really not,” she recently told a BBC Radio 1 interviewer. “Sometimes I really don’t think it’s that hard at all.”
She does share there is one difficult part of tour life- not seeing her cats.
“I do have to leave the cats behind when I leave the country, which is the hardest part,” she adds.
