I would be willing to bet a week’s salary that if college administrative offices, at admission, sold insurance(guns) to any student that wanted one, and was of the legal age to be issued a permit by the college, that we would very seldom hear of one of these mass shootings on college campuses. This number would have then been down to maybe 2 or 3 killed max, and one or two injured. Waiting for the police to get there(5-10 mins usually minimum) has to be a miserable time when one is sitting in the next room waiting for the shooter to come in and kill you. The police do one thing very well after they get there, and that’s write good reports.

You can tell what the problem is largely by the American attitude on here. Partly denial and partly arrogance to listen to reason. Instead of arrogantly refusing to listen why don’t you come up with suggestions to prevent these incidents? What is so bad about reviewing the laws and systems and trying to stop these innocent people dying?! But no you just wont admit you may be the slightest bit wrong. And herein lies the issue
UE has more people and as many mass shootings in the last 50 years as US in a year. Murder rate is also much much lower. The most dangerous cities like London and Paris have 1-2 murders per 100.000 people per year, 10-15 times less than NY or LA. The race argument does not hold water, these cities are very diverse. But it couldn’t be the guns, right?
