Donald Trump Gallup
A new Gallup poll finds that Donald Trump is the least popular of all his rivals, having the highest unfavorable rating among Americans.
“Trump is the most unpopular candidate of either party when the entire US population is taken into account,” a Gallup poll showed on Saturday.
Acording to the poll, the Republican front-runner is viewed by 60 percent of Americans unfavorably and only 33 percent think he is their favorable candidate.
Coming in second least unpopular is Hillary Clinton having “a 52% unfavorable rating among all Americans, while Jeb Bush is at 45%, Chris Christie 38%, Ted Cruz 37%, Marco Rubio 33%, Bernie Sanders 31% and Ben Carson 30%,” the survey showed.
The Donald Trump Gallup poll numbers pose a sharp contrast to the result of other polls which show Trump and Clinton dominate their respective fields nationally.
According to the Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics poll of the Hawkeye State released on Saturday evening, Clinton and Trump are leading their parties two days away from the Iowa caucuses.
Clinton is the top pick for 45 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers and Trump is ahead with 28 percent support in Iowa.
Over half of Clinton’s supporters, 53 percent, said they would be very enthusiastic to have her as the nominee, and 83 percent say they have made up their minds about who they will support, the poll revealed.
Trump’s rival, Ted Cruz, comes in second with 23 percent and Marco Rubio came in third place with 15 percent, and Ben Carson in fourth with 10 percent, it showed.
