Prince Harry completes Second Afghan Tour

Prince Harry, the 28 year old grandson of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth has revealed he has been responsible for killing members of Afghanistan’s Taliban during his recent tour of duty in the wartorn country. Serving at Camp Bastion as a gunner on Apache attack helicopters with the NATO force based in southern Afghanistan Harry told interviewers he was willing to take a life in order to save the life of a fellow soldier or innocent civilian.

Asked before he left Afghanistan if he had killed insurgents during his tour, he said: “Yeah, so, lots of people have. … Yes, we fire when we have to, take a life to save a life, but essentially we’re more of a deterrent than anything else.

“If there’s people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we’ll take them out of the game, I suppose,” the second son of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana said in one of several interviews released to the media.

The Prince, known as Captain Harry Wales stated killing was not his motive in becoming a helicopter gunner with the Royal Air Force’s 662 squadron.

As his 20 week tour of Afghanistan comes to an end Prince Harry spologised for his actions in Las Vegas during 2012 when he was photographed naked with a woman in a hotel room. High ranking members of the Taliban had promised to kill the Prince during his time in Afghanistan after his first tour in 2007 was ended prematurely when his posting to the country was leaked by news agencies.
